The Fort Campbell Historical Foundation has just completed construction on the building that will become the Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum. The building has been gifted to the US Army. The Foundation is now supporting the Army with the design and construction of modern exhibits, and interactive technology to make this a world class experience for visitors. The museum will honor the legacy of service and sacrifice of every Soldier who served in the units that call Fort Campbell home. Our goal is to open the doors of this incredible museum in mid March 2026. We still have work to do and we hope that you’ll join us in working towards this goal by supporting the Fort Campbell Historical Foundation.

Since 1992, The Fort Campbell Historical Foundation has honored the courage and sacrifice of Soldiers who are stationed here.

The aim of the museum is to honor the Soldiers of Fort Campbell and its legendary 101st Airborne Division, 5th Special Forces Group, and 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. We hope that the museum will be able to help visitors learn more about Fort Campbell’s rich military history.

Museum Grounds
The sprawling, 33 acre landscaped campus and Memorial Park will host a variety of historic military artifacts. Rather than just teaching through information, the museum grounds will allow visitors to see aircraft displays and other exhibits for themselves.
An Interactive Experience
The Tennessee Wings of liberty museum offers an engaging, interactive experience for visitors of all ages. The museum will feature audio alcoves and displays telling the stories of soldiers and their families.
Glider Atrium
The museum will include a 10,000 s/q atrium featuring a WWII era WACO Glider. The atrium will also be capable of supporting events such as ceremonies and receptions. A memorial courtyard featuring memorialization bricks is adjacent to the Atrium.
